WHAT IS INTRAVENOUS VITAMIN THERAPY IN FAIRLIGHT NSW?

IV Infusion therapies in Fairlight NSW can assist patients by providing high doses of nutrients through a drip, or injection. Each treatment is tailored to the diagnosed clinical needs of each individual patient.

Intravenous Vitamin Therapies can assist patients who have difficulty absorbing nutrients and vitamins orally, suffer chronic fatigue, acute and chronic infections, or significant nutrient deficiencies that would benefit from rapid correction. Infusions allow nutrients to enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing the digestive system, thereby achieving much higher concentrations than when taken orally.

This treatment does not replace a balanced diet and nutrition plan. It may however, assist
patients with deficiencies that prevent adequate nutrition and dietary intake from being absorbed by the body, preventing therapeutic levels from being obtained. Intravenous vitamin therapy can support, offering an alternative or addition to conventional medical treatments, to better assist patients to achieve optimal health outcomes. This treatment should only be undertaken following a thorough consultation by a trained registered nurse with guidance from a general practitioner. This ensures the treatment and clinical need appropriate for the patient.

Treatment time varies depending on the individual, but we recommend allowing up to 2 hours. The frequency of your treatment depends on many variables and should be discussed with your registered nurse in a scheduled appointment. These factors should be closely & routinely monitored throughout your treatment process.

While intravenous vitamin therapies are considered generally safe and well tolerated by all,

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the benefits of an IV drip?

IV vitamin drips are the fastest and most effective way to get nutrients into our bodies. When we compare this to the traditional oral route of vitamin supplementation, IV therapy allows us to bypass the digestion process and in doing so, provides our body with essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream where it is much more easily absorbed. IV vitamin therapy has been popularly used by many to help maintain a high level of health and wellness as well as potentially support their chronic and acute conditions.

Is an individual treatment enough, or is a multiple course recommended?

As each individual differs in their requirements, there is no one size fits all method to our drip treatment plans. Based on your specific medical history, lifestyle and individual needs, our team of health professionals will be able to help guide you toward the most ideal plan to help you achieve your desired health goals. However, one-off drips are commonly seen to be effective in helping boost energy levels during demanding work weeks, beating jet-leg and overcoming a case of seasonal illness. If you’re looking to incorporate IV drip therapy for preventative health and wellness, a recommended treatment routine of once to twice a month is ideal.

Who provides the treatment and what is involved?

The treatment is provided by a AHPRA Registered nurse in accordance and guidance from a General Practitioner. Upon the first treatment there is a $40 scripting fee which will be valid for all future treatments over 12 months. The treatment begins with a face to face consultation with the treating registered nurse, to go over any specific health concerns and desired goals. Once complete, the treatment begins with a cannulation process and your intravenous vitamin therapy will be administered. The entire treatment takes up to 45 minutes.

What is the price of each treatment?

Our IV vitamin therapy prices start from $189. The cost of treatment will include your intravenous vitamins and nutrients as well as having the service carried in-clinic by a registered nurse. A comprehensive consultation that will address your specific individual goals and desires is also included when you choose to book with us.
