Meet the team

I became a Chiropractor after receiving treatment in my late teens. I completed my Bachelor of Science with a double major in Anatomy and Physiology before completing my Masters Degree in Chiropractic.

I practised as an Associate in Adelaide, Australia, before being selected to practice under one of the world’s leading authorities on Spinal Manipulation in London, having also been a frequent guest lecturer at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic. Upon my return to Australia, I set up my own clinic utilising the Gonstead Chiropractic and am a member of the teaching staff at Macquarie University to tutor future Chiropractors. I currently hold a Fellow status within the Gonstead Chiropractic Society of Australia, and one of a few practitioners who successfully completed the Gonstead Extremity Certification in the world. Alongside Chiropractic, my passion is Neurology, Neuroplastisity and Functional Neurology. Neurology in the clinic environment gives me a greater understanding of the human body and how it works, allowing me the ability to have a positive influence on conditions and help people that would normally be untreatable. I am continually inspired by the amazing results that are achieved with this application.

Suffering from chronic lower back pain for 2 years following a sporting injury and undergoing many forms of treatment, I was taken to see a Chiropractor for the first time in my life. Knowing nothing about Chiropractic at all, I soon made a recovery and learnt how Chiropractic is more than just about fixing bad backs.

I initially completed a Medical Radiation Science Degree from Sydney University then a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic at Macquarie University, and now enjoy being part of the chiropractic teaching staff there. I am a current member of both the Australian and New Zealand Chiropractors Associations, and the Australian Spinal Research Foundation. I am also an approved WorkCover Injury Provider. Before coming to Prestidge Chiropractic I was providing care in Queenstown, New Zealand, working with a diverse range of clients from the Super 14 rugby, the All Blacks as well as establishing a family orientated clinic serving the local community. It was a great place to indulge my passion for the outdoors. As part of the team at Prestidge Chiropractic, I am here to develop our clinical environment that provides expert skill and care in hands on healthcare. Our model of care focuses in correcting biomechanical and neurological related problems. Furthermore, by optimising how these systems work we can help naturally improve your body’s resilience, reduce the physiological impacts of stress, and enhance your quality of life. Importantly a thorough initial assessment is made to determine what is wrong and why. This provides us with the information we need to make your treatment specific to you, and your health needs. Different people have different goals, and I am keen to see people get the most from their lifestyle. Whether you want to compete at a high sporting level, be able to pick up your grandchildren without pain or work without a headache, we will endeavour to help you.
